333 Pictures

Over the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024, I was welcomed to 333 Pictures to illustrate posters for the studio's upcoming films, Wages of Sin and The Order, collaborating with the director Victor Rios and executive producer Stephen Sepher.

Note: Wages of Sin and The Order are films covering the dangers of substance abuse and violence; the posters reflect this and contain mature content.

WAGES OF SIN

Social Media Poster

Wages of Sin is an upcoming action film directed by Victor Rios and written by Stephen Cyrus Sepher, produced by 333 Pictures and Boatyard Productions. The film features Paul Sloan as the protagonist. Jeremy Luke and Danny Trejo contribute as leading antagonists. Sloan stars as a mob enforcer fighting for his life as he's betrayed by a criminal enterprise.

This early poster, which was designed for social media sharing, features an abstract background with the main cast in a monochrome filter.

I collaborated with Mr. Rios and Mr. Sepher to composite a "floating head" style poster, with an emphasis on the importance of Sloan's character.

Tribeca, Cannes Film Festival Submission

Theatrical Release Poster

During my time crafting the theatrical release poster for Wages of Sin, I was given the opportunity to understand the legality of posters themselves. I spent a great deal of time researching billing blocks, the heightened text seen on theatrical posters detailing the main contributors, actors, and production organizations.

Various compositing effects were used to mimic a bloody $100 dollar bill, riddled with burn holes and surrounded by pills, each of which were individually composited into the artboard.

The director, Victor Rios, was so happy with my quality work that he submitted the film and poster to the Tribeca and Cannes Film Festival, which we hope to hear back from soon .

THE ORDER

Social Media Teaser Poster

The Order is an upcoming mysterious and brutal detective film. It is also directed by Victor Rios and produced by 333 Pictures. A corrupt cult has infested the city of New York, as dread lurks behind closed doors. The film is set to release in 2024.

This teaser poster showcases a cult-like hooded figure obscured by fiery graphics and stained glass, displaying an intense, dramatic and stunning final composition.
