BOXSTER PROJECT
The 987.1 Porsche Boxster is a mid-engine convertible sports car coupe. It was released in 2005 and was a huge upgrade to the 986 generation, and has been a cherished vehicle of mine. Therefore, I decided to create portions of it as high-quality 3D-models.
WORKFLOW
While at times it was challenging in modeling and sculpting various areas of the vehicle, namely the wheel (Tire, rims, brake calipers & rotors), the hood, the trunk, and the crest/brand identity, my hard work resulted in stunning, pristine visual works.
RENDERING
After the softsurface and hardsurface modeling was complete in Zbrush and Maya, an HDRi scene was assembled, materials for the tire were created, and finally rendered through Maya Arnold / HyperShade. The renders were later composited into Adobe Photoshop into mock-up advertisements.
